Services that send out meals or meal kits are a fantastic way to help with nutrition challenges. They help ensure that seniors who can’t cook or shop for themselves still eat well, without too much pressure on the caregiver.

While the services can get pricey, they’re often well worth the fee. Some types may also be partly covered under insurance. There are also programs like Meals on Wheels that specifically focus on low income seniors.
